- APC Establishes National Campaign Councils for Key States
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee, headed by Abdullahi Ganduje, has established three National Campaign Councils for the forthcoming governorship elections on November 11 in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states.
Among the 123-member Campaign Council for Bayelsa state, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stands out.
Gombe state Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya will chair the Bayelsa Campaign Council, while the Imo Campaign Council, comprising 138 members, will be led by Cross River state Governor Bassey Otu. Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state will head the 135-member council for Kogi.
Co-Chairing Kogi are Govs. Babajide Sanwo-olu (Lagos), Umar Bago (Niger), and Uba Sani (Kaduna).
