NNPP Board Suspends Kwankwaso Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

  • The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has suspended the National leader and 2023 presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, for six months due to alleged anti-party actions.

    During a parallel National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Lagos State, this suspension was confirmed. The BoT has also suspended the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

    Dr. Agbo Major has been appointed as the acting National Chairman, and Ogini Olaposi is the acting National Secretary, along with 18 others. The BoT accuses Kwankwaso of associating with individuals without the board's authorization.
