- Medical practitioners, part of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to meet their demands or face industrial unrest.
MDCAN's National Executive Council expressed concerns over the non-implementation of a jointly agreed review of CONMESS (Consolidated Medical Salary Structure) and the introduction of Accoutrement allowance.
The council emphasized the need for addressing brain drain and inadequate working conditions in the health sector.
